CoreSite CH1 provides enhanced network connectivity, increased power redundancy, and a higher level of physical security, all of which will contribute to a stronger and more resilient hosting environment.

We anticipate approximately 6 to 8 hours of downtime, which will involve removing all servers from the current datacenter cabinets, transporting the servers to the new datacenter, and then installing the servers in the new datacenter cabinets. Our team will work diligently to keep the downtime to a minimum by completing the migration as quickly and as safely as possible.

No action is required on your part. All current services, IP addresses, and configurations will remain unchanged.

If you require that your service remain online for this migration, we can temporarily (or permanently if requested) move your service to a different datacenter location of your choice, such as Dallas, before the physical Chicago migration begins. Please contact us by November 24th if you are interested in this option, which will require an IP/DNS change but less than an hour of downtime that can be scheduled at your convenience.

This has temporarily affected access to cPanel/WHM and, most notably, databases. This appears to have been caused by a spike in filesystem usage. We are working to restore full functionality as soon as possible. Nov 22, 13:19:25 GMT+0 - Identified - Accounts are still being restored. Due to the large amount of accounts and data we expect all accounts to be restored within 24 hours. Nov 21, 19:47:42 GMT+0 - Monitoring - We have detected MySQL corruption on the DE-S1 node, which has impacted access to cPanel/WHM and several databases.  
To resolve this, we are preparing a careful restoration process from our backups. This involves:

1. Securing all current data to prevent losses.
2. Restoring affected databases and services from verified backups.
3. Validating data integrity and bringing all services back online.

This process is complex and will take some time to complete safely. We are actively working on it and will provide regular updates as progress continues.

Due to this upgrade involving a full replacement of all network infrastructure, we have added additional server racks at the datacenter (Equinix SY4) to build the new network in.

On November 18th, at approximately 9:00 AM Sydney time (GMT+11), we will begin physically migrating all servers from the current server racks to the new server racks, which will benefit from the new and improved network. Servers will be migrated in small batches to minimize downtime, which will result in approximately 1 to 2 hours of downtime.

We expect to complete the migration by the end of November 18th, but if not, we will pause the migration and then resume migrating servers on November 19th at approximately 9:00 AM Sydney time (GMT+11).

No action is required, as all IP addresses will remain the same. Services will automatically come back online after the migration is completed. On September 16th, at approximately 9:00 AM Tokyo time (GMT+9), we will begin physically migrating all servers from the current server racks to the new server racks, which will benefit from the new and improved network. Servers will be migrated in small batches to minimize downtime, which will result in approximately 1 to 2 hours of downtime.

We expect to complete the migration by the end of September 16th, but if not, we will pause the migration and then resume migrating servers on September 17th at approximately 9:00 AM Tokyo time (GMT+9).

No action is required, as all IP addresses will remain the same. Services will automatically come back online after the migration is completed. The new datacenter that we have selected is CoreSite LA2 which is regarded as one of the top datacenters in Los Angeles with excellent connectivity and robust infrastructure.

On Sunday, March 9th at approximately 8:00 PM PST, we will initiate a migration of all VPS nodes to our new permanent home at CoreSite LA2\. There will be approximately 2 hours of downtime for our team to remove the servers from the temporary datacenter, transport the servers, and then install the servers at the new datacenter.

Although this whole situation was unexpected, we took the opportunity to invest in increasing our network capacity and redundancy in Los Angeles. We have increased our network uplinks from 20 Gbps to 80 Gbps and our server ports from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps with fully redundant network equipment for better performance and reliability.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by last month&#039;s migration and this upcoming migration, which will be the final migration to resolve this situation.

Although this whole situation was unexpected, we took the opportunity to invest in increasing our network capacity and redundancy in Los Angeles. We have increased our network uplinks from 20 Gbps to 80 Gbps and our server ports from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps with fully redundant network equipment for better performance and reliability.
